Siml.ai v0.6: Expressions in Constraints, Datasets and UX improvements
Our Product team is back with great updates. Today, we're shipping Siml.ai v0.6, which adds a few important changes to the platform and improves user experience.
Overview Page Improvements
When you log into the Siml.ai platform, you'll now be greeted with an improved Overview page. This revamped interface provides instant access to essential information, ensuring you can quickly get started with your simulation projects. With this update, we've prioritized clarity and simplicity, making it easier for users to navigate our platform.
Expressions in Constraint Nodes
One of the most significant enhancements in Siml.ai v0.6 is the ability to use SymPy expressions in Constraint node settings. This feature empowers simulation engineers to define complex inlet or outlet profiles programmatically, with the ability to also use parameterized variables. By leveraging this capability, you can create more accurate and realistic simulations that better reflect real-world scenarios.
UI/UX Improvements on the Environment Creation Page
We've also revamped the Environment creation page to provide a seamless user experience. Now, when selecting simulators, you'll see an intuitive list of connected simulator models instead of just a dropdown of simulators' labels.
Furthermore, we've redesigned the server selection process to make it more informative and user-friendly. This update ensures that users can easily access and configure their simulation environments without unnecessary complexity. These changes will enable us to add even more features in future updates, further enhancing your overall experience with Siml.ai.
Additional Enhancements: Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
In addition to these new features, our team has worked tirelessly to address numerous bugs and improve the handling of dataset uploads and loading. We've also added a preview feature with pagination for datasets, allowing you to quickly review data without unnecessary delays or complications.
Working with datasets will be the main focus of our next version, which release is planned for the end of August.
Looking Ahead: A Focus on Datasets in Our Next Release
As we continue to push the boundaries of AI-driven physical simulation, our next release is set for August and will place a strong emphasis on working with datasets. This update promises even more exciting features that will further streamline your workflow and enhance collaboration within teams.
